Ukrainian Displaced Persons in Canada post 2022: Making Home in Times of Peace and War
The February 2022 full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine has caused the largest displaced persons/refugee crisis in Europe since WWII. Through the Canadian government's Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET) visa program, Ukrainian Displaced Persons (UDPs) have obtained the right to relocate to Canada for three years.
