Ambassador Ian Boag to visit Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhya (15-17 March 2006)

    The Head of the Delegation of the European Commission to Ukraine, Mr Ian Boag, will visit Kharkiv (15 March), Dnipropetrovsk (16 March) and Zaporizzhya (17 March) to get acquainted with the situation in these regions and to present current EU-Ukraine policy and cooperation issues to stakeholders. This is the first visit of Ambassador Boag to Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhya and his second visit to Kharkiv.
    Ambassador Boag will also use this opportunity to discuss the celebration of this year’s Europe Day in Kharkiv (planned for 27 May 2006) and Zapporizhya (planned for 25 May 2006).
    Kharkiv (15 March)
    Meetings are planned with the Head of the State Oblast Administration, A. Avakov; the Head of the City Council, O. Shapalov; the Head of the City Administration, V. Shumilkin, and with students of the National University.

    Dnipropetrovsk (16 March)
    Meetings are planned with the Head of the State Oblast Administration, N. Deyeva; the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk City Council, M. Shvets; the Head of the City Administration, I. Kulitshenko, and with students of the National University.
    Zaporizhya (17 March)
    Meetings are planned with the Head of the State Oblast Administration, Y. Tshervonenko; the Head of the City Council, V. Berezovskiy; the Head of the City Administration, Y. Kartashov and with students of the National University.
