    Support Project to provide management training in Quality Control for SME managers in priority regions

    During May, 2007 the EU-funded project “Ukraine: SME Support Services in Priority Regions” is organising a practical management training course in Quality Control in each of its three project priority regions, i.e. Rivne, Chernigiv and Zhytomyr.
    This management training course was developed on the basis of a Training Needs’ Analysis carried out by the Project amongst selected regional SME managers in order to determine if a training need actually exists and if yes, what type and kind of training is required to fill the gap identified.
    The purpose of this training course is to transfer specific know-how that will enable the participants of the training course to:
    ° Understand what is meant by “quality”;
    ° Describe the history of the development of quality management;
    ° Identify the benefits to individuals and organizations of a quality management system;
    ° Identify the costs of quality management;
    ° Identify quality management tools;
    ° Identify the components of ISO 9000;
    ° Identify the requirements of ISO 9000;
    ° Identify the components of EFQM;
    ° Identify the components of TQM;
    ° Identify the components of Six Sigma.
    Recruitment for this course is being done by the project in cooperation with the representative offices of the State Committee of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship in the priority regions.
