Europe day 2006

    This year will see the fourth annual celebration of Europe Day in Ukraine organized by the Delegation of the European Commission to Ukraine in cooperation with Ukrainian authorities. This is an occasion to bring the European Union out onto the streets and closer to Ukrainian citizens.
    Once again, we hope to provide a public space for dialogue and feedback-oriented participatory activities. These will include discussions on the EU’s various fields of activity and its relations with Ukraine and the wider world. Visitors will be invited to explore the European Village, where there will be a combination of familiar elements and a whole range of new attractions, as well as to witness a spectacular rock concert.
    Alongside 22 EU Member States, the following countries will be represented in the European Village: Bulgaria, Croatia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine.
