    AN OPEN COMPETITION FOR BRITISH CHEVENING
    SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2007–2008.
    
    The Chevening Scholarships scheme is a worldwide programme funded by the
    Foreign & Commonwealth Office and administered by the British Council. It
    provides opportunities for candidates to undertake postgraduate study or
    research in the UK and obtain a degree.
    Flights, course fees and living costs are all covered in full.
    
    The priority subject areas for academic year 2007/08 are as follows:
    Justice and Home Affairs, European Integration, Economic Policy, Energy and
    Climate Change, Environment and Sustainable Development, HIV/AIDS
    Prevention.
    
    Application deadline is 20 December, 2006.
