Kharkiv journalist apartment searched

    # Yesterday, on 25 October, journalist and editor in chief of the Kharkiv weekly “Objective-No” Nahalia Statsivko filed a statement to the police department denouncing the unapproved searching with which the police had proceeded in her apartment. This information was announced by the media-group Objective (the web-site news.media-objektiv.com).
    Any papers, which would confirm the authorization to make searches in her apartment, had not been produced by the law enforcement unit. The entry door at the apartment had been broken by the police.
    Nathalia Statsivko cannot explain what would provoke this measures against her, because till now she had not any confrontation with the law enforcement organs.
