Press Release in reaction to the interview given a few days ago by Mr Kuzmin (Deputy Prosecutor General of the Ukraine)

    The accusations made by Mr Kuzmin are totally unfounded. On that day Mr Brok arrived in Kiev early in the morning and took a plane from Kiev to Tbilisi at 20.40 that same night. He was taken from the airport by the EU Ambassador and brought by his car to the airport. He accompanied him to most of the meetings which were all official meetings with government, both sides of parliament, Press conference etc. Mr Brok went to all events with diplomatic and or political officials. "Mr Kuzmin and his friends can not stop me from working against selective justice and for the freedom of opposition as leaders, for Mrs Timoschenko and Mr Luzenko in Ukraine" declared Mr Brok.
