HIAS Ukraine and the NGO Girls Present Research on Mental Health Needs and Psychosocial Support for Ukrainians

    Kyiv, November 21, 2023. HIAS Ukraine and the non-governmental organization "Girls" have prepared and presented the results of a nationwide study on mental health and psychosocial needs in Ukraine titled "18 months later: A mental health and psychosocial needs assessment across Ukraine." The research was conducted from June to August 2023 and involved over 2,000 respondents from different regions of Ukraine and various age groups.
    The main objective is to understand how Ukrainians' perception of mental health has changed, how they feel about their well-being and mental health, how they access psychosocial support, and the barriers they face in seeking help.
