CHRISTMAS: A SEASON OF LOVE AND JOY SPREADING ACROSS BORDERS

    Christmas, a magical time of the year filled with warmth and kindness, shines brightest when we direct our attention to those who need it the most. This principle has been put into action for the second consecutive year through the annual initiative by volunteers from the "Rule of Law Charity" Foundation (Kyiv), the NGO "Civic Chamber of Kyiv," and the "InterGo" Foundation (Ivano-Frankivsk), in collaboration with German partners from the Bremishe Evangelische Kirche.
    
    Last year, this initiative proved to be exceptionally successful when volunteers visited the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities in the Dniprovsky district of Kyiv. They not only gifted the center's residents with sweets and toys but, more importantly, conveyed warmth and love.
    
    This year, the event has become a tradition eagerly anticipated not only by the children but also by the volunteers themselves. On January 24th at 11 a.m., the residents of the Rehabilitation Center once again delighted the volunteers with the joy and warmth of their hearts.
    
    What special surprises await the children this year? Unique Christmas presents sent by their friends and peers from Germany. The collaboration with the charitable organization Bremishe Evangelische Kirche, along with the support of Natalia Chaplynska, a deputy of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council and the visionary behind the initiative, has allowed Ukrainian volunteers to expand their mission of aiding children. These children endure not only illnesses but also the consequences of the insidious invasion by Russian occupiers, facing daily air raid alarms while seeking refuge alongside caregivers, parents, and all Kyivans.
    
    Every gift, every moment of attention and warmth brought by this initiative becomes a drop of love, filling not only the hearts of the center's residents but also those who give this love. The response from the children was equally significant – they prepared a concert expressing profound gratitude to all the volunteers for everything they do.
    
    Thus, the traditional campaign "Christmas is when someone thinks of you with love" continues to bring joy and hope to the hearts of those who need it the most. It serves as a wonderful example of how collective efforts and kindness can transform the world around us, making it a better place for everyone.
