Ukrainian league of industrialists and entrepreneurs: Ukraine needs a strategic state policy and a competent executive branch
July 24, 2025.
The Ukrainian league of industrialists and entrepreneurs calls for a professional, accountable, and strategy-oriented government, especially in times of war. Only through qualified management and open cooperation with business can the country ensure economic resilience and long-term recovery.
Despite alarming indicators — over 42% industrial inflation, 40% import dependency, and a sharp export decline — Ukraine has not adopted a unified Recovery Plan. The Budget Declaration through 2028 lacks real instruments for growth. ULIE stresses the urgent need for a structured and publicly presented Government Action Program.
The business community strongly opposes unjustified consolidation of ministries. Agrarian and industrial sectors require dedicated policy frameworks. UUIE stands ready to cooperate with the government but expects transparency, professionalism, and a focus on results.
