WASHINGTON DC/RIVNE, UKRAINE -- The Ukrainian-American Environmental Association (UAEA) today announced the posting on its web page of contact information for nearly three dozen institutional resources in Ukraine working on renewable energy and energy efficiency issues. This is being provided as part of UAEA’s broader effort to promote increased use of sustainable energy technologies in Ukraine.
See: http://ua-ea.org/14/resources
Twenty-one business, academic, governmental, and NGO organizational contacts are provided for renewable energy and thirteen for energy efficiency. The information is provided in both Ukrainian and English.
Additional listings will be included and regularly updated as they are identified. Contact information for American and other international organizations interested in working with Ukraine to develop its renewable energy and energy efficiency options will also be posted in the near future.
In the coming months, UAEA will also be posting on its web page contact information for a large number of Ukrainian institutional resources working on a range of environmental issues including soil contamination, air and water pollution, nuclear power, climate change, and wildlife and wilderness protection. A detailed listing of those media resources that regularly cover Ukrainian environmental issues is also forthcoming.
