The EU Delegation invites to the event “EUROBUS: UNITING UKRAINE” in your city

    The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine invites for street information and educational event “EURObus: uniting Ukraine” which will take place:
    On June, 6th (Saturday) at 12 p.m. in Drohobych, address: Rynok Square close to Drohobych City Council
    On June, 7th (Sunday) at 4 p.m. in Uzhhorod, address: Teatralna Square close to the stage
    On June, 11th (Thursday) at 4 p.m. in Kharkiv, address: Konstytutsii Square close to Historical Museum
    On June, 12th (Friday) at 4 p.m. in Poltava, address: Zhovtneva Str. close to Teatralna Square
    Organizers invite to meet EURObus in your city, communicate with the EU diplomats from the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, take part in contests and quizzes on knowledge of facts about the EU, paint magnets-symbols of various European countries together with the artists, participate in selfie-flash-mob #Europabus, visit street library and photo exhibitions dedicated to European topics.
    PARTICIPATION IS FREE!
    EURObus is an alternative way of organizing educational events on European issues aimed at uniting Ukraine and the EU and enhancing interest of city residents to the Euro integration issues. Such kind of education tours were initiated by all-Ukrainian youth NGO “Foundation for Regional Initiatives” back in 2007.
    PRELIMINARY AGENDA OF THE EVENTS:
    Games, quizzes and contests on knowledge of facts about the EU
    Join the discussions about Europe and win a prize for active participation
    Selfie-flashmob #Europabus
    Take a selfie with a hashtag #Europabus from the event location, publish the photo in social media (Facebook, Twitter) and write what it means to be European. The best photos and slogans shall receive awards.
    Street photo exhibition “EUROsooshka” – sharing of photos which depict the beauty of Europe and Ukraine, represent European values through people, architecture, events etc.
    Bring your own photos taken in Ukraine or Europe and take the works of other participants as a keepsake
    Photo exhibition of the European Commission's Humanitarian aid and Civil Protection department (ECHO) “Ukraine: distress, loss and hope”
    Learn more about humanitarian aid for the conflict zones in Ukraine from the EU and partner organizations
    Workshop on painting on water “EUcreate in Ukraine”
    Paint symbols of European cities using “paper marbling” technique
    Puzzle-zone/ playground “Make up the map of Europe”
    Learn geography of Europe
    Street “bookcrossing” library
    “Bookcrossing” - take any book you like with you and get informational materials on European topics
    Closing of the event with a flash-mob “Sounds of Joy: Anthem of Europe-Ukraine”
    Sing the words of Ukrainian anthem to the music of the anthem of the European Union
    The initiative “EURObus: Uniting Ukraine” is taking place in the framework of the information campaign “Building Europe in Ukraine” held by the EU Delegation throughout the year all over Ukraine. The goal of the campaign is to promote European values and enhance Ukrainians’ knowledge concerning the development of EU-Ukraine relations. All interested are invited to take part in the events in the framework of the information campaign of the EU Delegation. Come and bring your friends!
