14 new projects will promote European Studies in Ukraine under EU-funded ERASMUS+ Programme: Jean Monnet Actions from 2018

    Among 180 project-winners from all over the world of the Call 2018 Erasmus+ Jean Monnet actions Ukraine has won 14 projects: 10 Modules on sustainable development, medical education, EU foreign policy, commercial law, anti-totalitarian practices, energy efficiency, interdisciplinary and inclusiveness in doctoral studies, European values; 1 Centre of Excellence; 2 Projects on security and sustainable states; 1 Support to Associations. Total projects' budget is about 500 000 Є.
    13 organizations from different regions of Ukraine (Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Odesa, Poltava, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhya, Mariupol, Lviv) from September, 2018 will begin implementation of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet projects:
    10 higher education institutions: Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University; V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University; Sumy State University; National University Odesa Law Academy; Precarpathian National University named after Vasyl Stefanyk; Chernihiv National T. G. Shevchenko Pedagogical University; Poltava National Technical Yuri Kondratyuk University; Sumy Makarenko State Pedagogical University; Zaporizhzhya National University; Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
    2 NGOs: Public Organisation Ukrainian Institute of Crisis Management and Conflict Solution; Ukrainian Association of Professors and Researchers of European Integration.
    1 research institution – SI "M. I. Dolishniy Institute of Regional Research of NAS of Ukraine".
    Background: In the context of five Erasmus+ Calls for Proposals published between 2014 and 2018 in total 575 proposals were submitted by Ukrainian organizations, out of which 55 Jean Monnet projects were selected for funding. Those projects include 41 Modules, 4 Chair, 4 Projects, 5 Support to Associations projects and 1 Centre of Excellence implemented in the field of European Studies by more than 40 universities, NGOs and research institutions from Ukraine. The total grant amounts more than 1 700 000 Є
