The city of Chernivtsi invites to the anniversary Chervona Ruta Music Festival

    Chervona Ruta Music Festival will be held on September 17-22, 2019, with the support of the EU Delegation to Ukraine. During six days of the Festival, its guests are going to witness performances of numerous bands and singers, visit exciting workshops dedicated to the Ukrainian folklore and traditional ceremonies, see an exhibition of photos made during the first Chervona Ruta Festival that was hold in 1989.
    
    Competitive program of the Festival allows gathering performers of pop, rock, folk, acoustic and dance music from all the regions of Ukraine. Five thousand performers have been auditioned during 2018 all over Ukraine. But only 950 performers have been chosen to participate in the final event. Such famous Ukrainian bands and musicians as Tabula Rasa, Viacheslav Khursenko, Viktor Pavlyk, Pikkardiyska Tertsiya, Ani Lorak, Katia Chilly, TNMK, Tartak, Krykhitka Tsakhes, Dakha-Brakha participated in earlier Festival.

    An EU Creative Zone will be opened at the Chervona Ruta Music Festival on September 17, 2019. Visitors will get to know more about European values and culture there. They will have the opportunity to actively rest under starred tents on comfortable poufs, take selfies in a special EU photo zone, while numerous artistic events will be held there for children.
    
    
    
    Chervona Ruta is a biennial music festival. The entrance to the Festival will be free of charge, as well as the participation in all activities.
