Interactive web cards explain how to receive EU funding for research and innovation in Ukraine

October 19, 2019.

“How to receive EU funding for research and innovation in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine?” Answers to these and many other questions can be found in explanatory cards recently developed by the ‘EU NEIGHBOURS east’ project.
The interactive web cards are designed in a simple question-and-answer format and are designed in such a way that they can easily be embedded on other websites, including those of media outlets.
Most opportunities in research, science and innovation sphere are offered through the EU’s largest Horizon2020 programme. Entrepreneurs with innovative ideas can also apply for funding for innovation under the programme.
With a budget of Euro 77 billion over seven years (2014-2020), Horizon 2020 allocates the vast majority of this funding on the basis of competitive calls which are open to applications from researchers, universities, businesses and other interested organisations located in any of the EU Member States or countries associated to Horizon 2020, including the EU’s Eastern Neighbourhood countries.
To find out more about what opportunities are offered to these six countries, including Ukraine, through the Horizon 2020 programme, how to apply and identify relevant funding source, follow the respective links below. Local language versions are also available.
