Birthday Celebration of the Plast Educational Center

On October 14th, the Municipal Institution of the Kyiv Regional Council, the 'Plast Educational Center,' celebrated its fifth birthday.
The event was attended by over 100 guests who came to congratulate the 'Plast Educational Center' on its first anniversary. Among the guests were Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Vladyslav Yatsuk, former head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Oleksandr Horgan, who initiated the construction of the Plast Educational Center in Bucha, representatives from IREX in Ukraine, the All-Ukrainian Youth Center, and various youth civic organizations.
The Mayor of Bucha, Anatoliy Fedoruk, also joined the celebration. He congratulated the Plast members on this occasion and expressed his gratitude for their efforts in developing the center.
Tetiana Samoilenko, a member of the Kyiv Regional Council, presented an acknowledgment on behalf of the parliamentary corps to the team led by Diana Vasilivna Prydma. She also conveyed her personal gratitude for the patriotic and comprehensive education of youth.
Thanking partners and guests, Diana Prydma, the head of the 'Plast Educational Center,' reflected on the achievements and significant events that have taken place over the past five years. Attendees of the event also heard a report on the center's activities for the year 2023:

The event continued with the presentation of acknowledgments to the partners of the 'Plast Educational Center.' Later, all participants jointly developed the achievements that will form the basis of the 'Strategic Development Plan for the Plast Educational Center for 2024 - 2027.' This was followed by informal and warm communication, filled with sincerity and friendship.
While reviewing photos and videos and reminiscing about the journey from an idea to a full-fledged Plast center for the youth of Ukraine, organizers and guests discussed significant matters. They discussed how the 'Plast Educational Center' has been nurturing the young generation for five years, enhancing their skills and competencies. They genuinely believe that each of us has the potential to influence the future of Ukraine, with our people being the driving force ready to be shining examples and initiators of positive change.
The discussion also touched upon the fact that for five years, the 'Plast Educational Center' has been prioritizing assistance and the development of children and youth, aspiring to support and improve our society. Together, they believe in the power of good deeds and volunteering as the key to the improvement of our country and the world.
Additionally, all the projects of the 'Plast Educational Center' have had a significant impact on the development of the Plast movement in the Kyiv region, shaping conscious citizens of Ukraine and contributing to the strengthening of our organizational capabilities. And lastly, the 'Plast Educational Center' has no intention of stopping at what has already been achieved. Many great accomplishments lie ahead!"
