With deep sorrow, the team of the Rule of Law foundation Foundation announces the loss of our dear friend and colleague, Andrii Nabatov

September 13, 2024.

    For seven years, he was a tireless volunteer with our organization, helping those in need during the hardest times. His dedication, humanity, and strength of spirit inspired every one of us.
    
    Andrii did not stop at helping from the rear — when the time came, he himself took up arms to defend Ukraine, standing up for freedom and peace. As a junior sergeant of the National Guard, he bravely carried out his combat duties as part of the command platoon of the 1st artillery division, sacrificing his life for our country on September 1, 2024, near Kupiansk, Kharkiv region.
    
    The loss of Andrii is not only an unbearable pain for our team but also a great example of courage and self-sacrifice. His path is a beacon for each of us, reminding us that the fight for truth and justice continues, and his legacy as a volunteer and defender of Ukraine continues to inspire us to achieve more.
    
    Eternal memory to you, Andrii. You will forever remain in our hearts.
