Partnership for the People: Memorandum Signed Between Three Organizations Providing Socio-Legal Support to Citizens
May 29, 2025.
The Law in Action Foundation, the Charitable Foundation “Parliamentary Club of Non-Governmental Organizations”, and the Law Firm “Kryzhanivskyi and Partners” have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for 2025–2026. The main goal of this joint initiative is to provide legal, socio-legal, and informational support to citizens, especially those in difficult life circumstances.
The memorandum outlines a long-term strategic partnership between three influential human rights organizations, each with a successful track record in their respective fields — legal defense, charity, advocacy, and mediation.
Among the joint initiatives planned for 2025–2026:
“Right to Know” Project — an educational and informational campaign for residents of frontline and de-occupied territories on legal issues such as document restoration, social guarantees, compensation, and housing rights.
Mobile Legal Unit — a team of lawyers and social consultants who will travel to communities to provide free consultations.
Veterans' Legal Protection Lab — a platform for developing legal solutions and providing assistance to military personnel, their families, and families of the fallen.
“Rights Nearby” Hotline — a 24/7 support line for citizens facing legal or social vulnerability.
“Citizen & the Law” Educational Course — an interactive program for young people on the basics of human rights, civic responsibility, and legal protection.
Comments from the partnership representatives:
"By combining our efforts, we are not just launching projects — we are creating a reliable space of support for those who need it most," said Oleg Spornikov, head of the Parliamentary Club of NGOs.
"Legal literacy is a shield that helps people survive in difficult times. Our mission is to make that shield accessible to everyone," noted attorney Serhii Kryzhanivskyi.
"The Law in Action Foundation has always stood guard over public interests. This memorandum is a natural step toward even deeper engagement with society," emphasized the foundation’s coordinator.
Together — for a just society where every citizen knows their rights and is never left alone with their problems.
