    Elsbeth Robson (University of Keele, England) and Samantha Punch (University of
    Stirling, Scotland) are planning an edited book on 'Young Rural Lives:
    Global Perspectives on Rural Childhood and Youth'. To get the edited
    book off the ground the group is organizing a specific session at the
    Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers)
    conference in London, UK September, 2005.
    
    The Group currently has a range of papers from different countries in
    both the minority and majority worlds, but have no contributions from
    the United States or Canada (and only one paper from Latin America and
    Asia). If you conduct research on rural childhood and/or youth in
    these geographical areas, the group would love to hear from you as soon
    as possible either to contribute to the conference session and/or the
    edited collection.
